You are buying this for someone who cannot be consulted first. Here is exactly where you stand if it does not work out.
Changed your mind — 30 days
If the bed is not right — wrong size, wrong room, wrong look — you can send it back within thirty days of delivery for a full refund, provided it is unused and in its original packaging.
- Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number.
- We reply with a return authorisation and the address to send it to.
- You arrange and pay for the return postage.
- Once it is back with us and checked, we refund the purchase price to your original payment method.
Unused means unused. Once a cat has slept in a bed it cannot be sold again, so it cannot come back under this policy. If you are not sure the size is right, ask us before you order — send a photo and a weight and we will tell you which one to get. That conversation is free and it is a great deal cheaper than posting a bed back.
Return postage is yours to arrange. A cat bed is bulky rather than heavy, so it is worth getting a quote before you commit — ask and we will tell you what it usually runs.
Refunds are processed within [processing time] of the bed arriving back with us. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
If something is wrong with it
If a bed arrives damaged, or a seam, frame or fitting fails in normal use, that is on us. Email us with your order number and a photo and we will repair, replace or refund it.
You will never be asked to pay return postage on a faulty item. That is separate from the change-of-mind policy above, and it is not optional on our side — see your rights below.
Our beds come with a [warranty period] guarantee on the frame, hardware and cover against manufacturing defects. It does not cover a cat doing what cats do — clawing, chewing, or the honest wear of something used every day.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing on this page reduces the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Those guarantees apply automatically and cannot be excluded.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The 30-day change-of-mind window and the guarantee above sit on top of those rights. They are extras we offer. They are not a substitute for the law, and they do not limit it.
How to start

Do not post first
Contact us before sending anything — unannounced returns are hard to match to an order and slow your refund down

Issued with your return authorisation, not published here
This page is a starting draft, not legal advice. The Australian Consumer Law wording above reflects the standard statutory position, but the specific commitments — the thirty-day window, who pays postage, the warranty length — are commercial promises that bind you. Have someone qualified read it before you launch.
